Isilon Systems helps Archive Systems to simplify document management

29 Jul 2010

Isilon Systems' scale-out storage has allowed Archive Systems, a services-based document management solution provider, to simplify its own administration of information stored on behalf of its clients.

All of the firm's applications and file-based data are now consolidated on to one storage pool, increasing IT efficiency and reducing operating costs for its software as a service business.

Sam Grocott, vice-president of marketing at Isilon Systems, says: "Archive Systems is a pioneer in eliminating risk in record keeping and is continuing to set the standard today by using Isilon to simplify its IT infrastructure and improve efficiency."

The NL-Series of scale-out storage from Isilon Systems allows Archive Systems to ensure business continuity by creating a secondary physical location for data storage for use in case of a disaster.

Initial set-up of the NL-Series is said by Isilon to take around ten minutes once the equipment is racked, without costly integration services required in order to bring the system online and serve data.
